Try Sailing This Easter at Budworth Sailing Club Open Day

Budworth Sailing Club is opening its doors this Easter for a free Open Day on Monday 6th April 2026.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to sail or windsurf, this is the perfect opportunity to come and try it for yourself. From 10:00am, visitors are invited to Budworth Mere to experience sailing, meet club members and enjoy a relaxed day by the water.

Whether you're looking for a new hobby, something active to do outdoors, or a fun activity for the whole family, our Open Day is a great introduction to sailing.

Free Sailing Taster Sessions

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy free sailing taster sessions with experienced club members and instructors. No previous experience is needed just bring comfortable clothing and we'll help you get out on the water.

Our friendly volunteers will be on hand to explain the basics, answer questions and make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

You'll get the chance to sail on Budworth Mere, one of the North West's most beautiful inland sailing venues and get up close to see the many different boats and boards that you can sail on our water.

If you've ever thought about learning to sail, this is the perfect opportunity to try it for free.
