    Jubilee Day - Saturday 4th June, we're having a Picnic!

    As part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Budworth plans to celebrate the event on Saturday 4th June. There is normal Recreational sailing in the morning, followed by Saturday Main Points racing starting at 14:00. The racing day will be accompanied by a FREE 'Picnic by the Lake' finger buffet and Jubilee Cake available to all members during the afternoon.     Midweek sailing Border Counties Series @ Budworth 2022- Event report

    Budworth sailing club, based at the heart of Cheshire and the proud recipient of the RYA sailing club of the year award, hosted the second event of the year, in the fun Border Counties Midweek series, held on Tuesdays!     Solo Training Day 2022

    The annual Solo Training Day was held on a bright and blustery day at the Club with a constant 15 mph WSW wind gusting to 25 mph in the afternoon. Expert coaching was once again provided by our own Phil Barnes and Luke Shaw who were assisted by Bill Kenyon.     Midweek sailing with the Border Counties @ Budworth 2022

    Next Tuesday 17th May sees the Budworth leg of the Border Counties Series. For those lucky enough to be free that day there is no better way to spend the afternoon! With three races from 11am, open to all dinghies in a single handicap fleet. Bring yourself, a picnic, and a fiver for a great day out. There will be prizes available for the top three, the first double hander and the first Budworth boat.

    Budworth Easter Open Day Roundup

    Another hugely successful open day at Budworth. We were, once again, blessed with a dry day, some sunshine and enough breeze to keep everyone entertained. Thanks to the help of our brilliant team of volunteers, over 150 members of the public took to the water and experienced sailing, many for the first time.     Return of the Wednesday night

    Don't forget, with the clocks now firmly set on summertime, we see the return of Wednesday night Sailing! The series commences with one race this Wednesday 6th April at 7pm. There will be two fleets racing, Lasers and handicap. The sailing will be followed by a well earned hot meal for £7.50 per head (please order before you go on the water).
