    Solo Open 2024

    Our Solo Open meeting was held on the 5 th October this year in bright sunny conditions with a respectable force 3 south easterly breeze with strong gusts in excess of 20 knots forecast.     Snipes Class at the Budworth Sailing Club Snipe Open for the SCIRA NW Championship 2024

    Conditions 10-15 knots of shifty breeze most of the weekend. Gusty and shifting lake conditions made for racing where strategy and tactics were key to getting ahead so avoiding being slowed by traffic.     Budworth Success at the West Lancs 24 Hour Race

    Budworth entered three teams at the iconic 24 hour race that was back in the racing calendar after a five year absence. The Budworth A team, consisting of past and present Budworth members and captained by Russell Cormack, won the event pipping the South Staffs A team with only 5 seconds separating the two teams on the water.     RNLI Challenge 2024

    Next Sundays racing (16th Jun 2024) will be an exciting special event! Instead of the usual three fleet races we will be hosting two 1.5 hour pursuit races! If you haven't pursuit raced before then we encourage you to come and give it a go. Pursuit racing is a format not often used at Budworth and is fantastic fun, whether you get the biggest headstart in a Topper or are chasing the fleet

    Commodore's weekend and Pirate Day - book now

    It's that wonderful, sunny time of year again and with that brings our annual Commodore's weekend! It's a fun filled weekend: On Saturday we will enjoy the Pirates Day and the BBQ which are both pre-bookable ticket events.     Boxing Day Bash Open 2023

    The Budworth Boxing Day Bash charity event returns again this year. Open to sailors from near and far, we can't wait to share the festive cheer on the water with friends in aid of this fantastic cause, the RNLI.
