We currently have junior and youth sailors ("JAYS") regularly competing in Club racing in Toppers, Fevas, ILCA 4s, ILCA 6s and 420s, or electing to sail in one of the other fleets available at Budworth SC, for example the GP14 or RS200.
Many of our JAYS go on to compete in regional, national and world competitions, and we actively support progression into the RYA Junior and Youth pathway. We focus on developing sailing skills for a lifetime of participation in sailing, encouraging individual goals. For some this has been to regularly enjoy racing at Budworth with their friends, for others, alongside the fun of racing at the Club, it has included going on to win national and world titles!
