Thinks & Drinks - Basic first aid

Welcome to the first in the series of Thinks and Drinks. As well as entertainment and education for the evenings. Vicki will be providing a pie supper for the princely sum of £4 for those of us not finding the time to get home first.

Sailing is generally a gentle sport, but just occasionally someone gets hurt or falls ill. We all hope there is someone else around who knows enough to help, but if you are the only one around then having a basic understanding of first aid is generally a good thing!

In particular we have a AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) on site, I have seen these used and they are incredibly effective at saving lives. They aren't difficult and designed for anyone to use. The session will be led by Steve Wilson of Cheshire East.
