  • Number of races: 3.
  • Races to qualify: 2
  • A Prize giving will take place approximately one hour after the last boat finishes in a COVID safe arrangement.

If less than 3 races are sailed then there shall be no discards. Sailing Instructions and courses shall be published on line prior to the event.

Organised by: Budworth Sailing Club - Racing will be governed by World Sailing RRS 2021 - 2024, the rules of the GP14 Class association and the Sailing instructions and this Notice of Race.

RYA Racing Charter: Competitors should note that Budworth SC implements the RYA Racing Charter and all competitors are required to undertake to sail in compliance with the Charter, which can be found on the RYA website here

Measurement Certificates - All competing boats shall have a valid measurement certificate, which shall be shown on request. By entering the helm declares that the boat meets all Class rules and the boat being sailed is in accordance with the measurement certificate.

Safety: A boat shall be entirely responsible for her own safety, whether afloat or ashore and nothing, whether in the Notice of Race or Sailing Instructions or anywhere else reduces this responsibility. It is for the boat to decide whether she is fit to sail in the conditions in which she will find herself. By launching the boat she confirms that she is fit for those conditions and her crew is competent to sail and compete in them. Nothing done by the organisers can reduce the responsibility of the boat nor will it make the organisers responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, however it may have occurred. The provision of safety boats does not relieve the boat of her responsibilities.

Food and Sustenance: Unfortunately due to the ongoing restrictions, our Galley will not be open, so please bring all provisions you require with you. However the good news is that the BAR will be open

Changing rooms: Budworth SC has had to limit access to changing rooms due to the ongoing restrictions, at this point in time we do not foresee these being available, however toilet facilities will be open.

Insurance: I confirm that I hold a valid certificate of insurance for racing at this meeting, providing cover against 3rd party risks of not less than £3,000,000
