    Boxing Day Bash Open 2023

    The Budworth Boxing Day Bash charity event returns again this year. Open to sailors from near and far, we can't wait to share the festive cheer on the water with friends in aid of this fantastic cause, the RNLI. This event features 2 handicap races starting at 12pm, with a briefing at 11:30am. There will be starts for (subject to numbers) single handers, double handers and juniors.     RS200 Open Event Report

    A record entry of 18 boats enjoyed a competitive day's racing with a South Easterly force 2-3 wind which held for the duration of the event. Race officer, Steve Hayward, was able to set a windward/leeward course between marks D and X which allowed for plenty of tactical moves and place changing both upwind and downwind.     Northern Travellers Solo Open 2023

    The penultimate round of the 2023 Northern Travellers Solo Championship took place at Budworth Sailing Club on Saturday, 7 th October. The event attracted 24 entries including 10 visitors from various clubs around the region and took the format of 1 race before lunch followed by 2 back to back races in the afternoon.     Autumn Open: Not to be missed!

    Budworth Sailing Club's annual Autumn Open series is not to be missed if you don't want to give up on sailing for the year! It starts on Sunday 5th November and continues through to Sunday 17th December. Three races are scheduled each Sunday, with the first start at 12:00.     Big day of competition coming up - Saturday 14th October

    As a result of very light (no) winds on the scheduled Champion Helm and Driver Trophy day in September, a decision has been made to reschedule these to the same day as the Philpot Pursuit Trophy.     Budworth juniors take all at GP14 Youth Nationals

    The GP14 Youth National Championships at South Staffordshire Sailing Club provided a weekend of warm and tricky racing on 2nd & 3rd September 2023 with 18 entries from 11 different clubs with many new faces allowed a wide span of ages and some close competition!
