The Budworth GP14 open meeting will return this year. A one day event, good racing is guaranteed, with the first race beginning at 11am. The club bar will be available afterwards. Budworth Sailing Club has lots of neighbours around the mere that we love, one of which is the beautiful Marbury Park , host to lots of walkers on the weekend. Thanks to the intrepid team who ventured across the Mere to install our new signage, sure to be a fantastic advert for our club.

Often, club members won't see the hive of activity the club is, at all times of the week. Recently, Reaseheath College have been able to start offering their current years program of activities at the club and it seems a great time is being had by all!

The North West Junior Traveller Trophy has been rescheduled for Monday 31st May, when we hope to have the classic Budworth sunshine on the front lawn, Westerly breeze and warm welcome. This Saturday, Budworth opens it's doors to race boarders from all over. Entry will be £12 and to be payed in person on the day. There will be 4 races and an outside bar open afterwards. Two Budworth Juniors, Rosanna and Sian, joined 14 other girls from around the north for training at Bolton Sailing club on Saturday 17 April. Conditions were challenging and the lack of wind gave the sailors a great opportunity to refine their light wind techniques.
