Budworth open race report A total of 138 competitors sailed in 12 events, in the closely fought and highly enjoyable Solo Northern Series, which came to its finale on the 6 th October 2018 at Budworth Sailing Club. Solo Open - 6th October 2018
The Budworth Solo Open meeting will take place on Saturday 6th October, with the race briefing at 10:30 and the first race at 11:00. Race Report: Budworth S.C. Snipe Open – 15th & 16th September 2018
23 Boats took part in the Budworth Snipe Open meeting on the 15th and 16th September. Seven travellers took on the local sailors including Malcolm and Iso Tipler all the way from the Orkney Islands. The first days racing got underway at 1.15 in very shifty and gusty conditions, as the day progressed the wind built from a force two to a three and swung more westerly which settled down the conditions slightly.

Race Report: 24 Hour Race - Southport, 8th & 9th September 2018
Budworth's 2018, Southport 24 hour race For Budworth, Southport's marathon 24 hour race turned out to be an epic weekend with everything: heavy rain to the tiniest glimpse of sunshine, drifting to death rolls, parties to hangovers, setacks and heroism, ultimately to end with trophies and the best aggregate result for the combined Budworth teams ever.
