We have a lot to offer you:

Are you a sailor with some or even a lot of experience?
Have you just moved into the area and have a boat?
Have you visited us and like what you see and hear?
Are you thinking of changing Clubs?

Budworth is essentially a racing club. That is our raison d’etre. Many clubs offer handicap racing only in menagerie fleets. Not at Budworth. We believe competitive racing, pitting your skills against another helm in the same class of boat is not only more exciting it is test of skills.

Got a different class of boat other than the fleets raced at Budworth?
Don’t worry – a lot of us swapped class in order to race at Budworth and have never looked back!

Can I try before I buy?
We have a number of Club boats which may be borrowed in order for you to make up your mind about which class of boat would serve you best. You can also join as a “crew” and sail with a current club “helm”, so try the sport, experience our different boats and have fun without buying at all!
We are keen to encourage youngsters and teenagers – we have special junior fleets and junior training, plus fun social activities! If you don’t want to sail yourself, your son/daughter can still join with you as a “Guardian”.

Is the wind shifty?
Yes it is, and that is what makes Budworth a challenge for sailors. We can guarantee you will hone your skills of tacking and tactics at our club. It is that opportunity which makes so many of our members proficient helms.

You can join online through WebCollect or, if you prefer, Application forms may be picked up in the clubhouse or downloaded from the web site here. If you have any further queries then please just click here to email me and I will be delighted to help in any way possible.

We look forward to receiving your application for membership and welcoming you to the Club.
